Ennovate Capital is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, our investor interest forms, funding applications, donation forms, event registrations and newsletter. This page is maintained by Ennovate Capital and explains our current practices.
We process personal data in line with the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act 2022 and its regulations, and with the EU General Data Protection Regulation where we deal with individuals in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
Contact details such as name, email, phone and organisation, professional information you share in an investor interest form or funding application, event registration details, donation details, and technical information such as pages visited when you consent to analytics cookies.
To respond to investor and donor enquiries, to assess funding applications, to manage event attendance, to send you the updates you subscribed to, and to meet legal, tax, anti money laundering and know your customer obligations that apply to a financial services business.
We rely on your consent for marketing communications and non essential cookies, on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request for investor and applicant relationships, on legal obligation for compliance record keeping, and on legitimate interests for the secure operation of this website.

We keep enquiry and application data for as long as the relationship is active and thereafter for the period required by financial and tax record keeping rules. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Under Tanzanian law you may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission, and under the GDPR with your local supervisory authority.
